Some adventures are meant to last forever in our memories — even when it’s time for the course itself to come to an end.
After years of riding the lines, our Wonderful Zipline Tour will permanently close following its final day of operation on Sunday, September 13.
That means there are just two final days to experience the Wonderful Tour: Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13.
We’d love to send it off with plenty of smiling faces, high-fives and one last round of adventure.
A Wonderful Part of Grand Vue
The Wonderful Zipline Tour has lived up to its name.
With four ziplines, two bridge crossings and beautiful views along the way, the tour has offered a scenic, approachable zipline adventure through the hills of Grand Vue. Its lines build from shorter flights to a nearly 1,000-foot-long zipline, giving thousands of guests the chance to step outside their comfort zones, experience the outdoors from a new perspective and make some pretty wonderful memories along the way.
We’re incredibly grateful to every guest who has clipped in, stepped off the platform and shared this course with us.
But Grand Vue Park continues to grow — and sometimes growth means making room for what comes next.
Grand Vue Park Is Growing
The retirement of the Wonderful Zipline Tour comes as part of the ongoing growth and expansion of offerings throughout the wider Grand Vue property.
Grand Vue has continued to evolve as a destination for outdoor recreation, adventure, gatherings, getaways and family fun here in Marshall County. As the park looks toward its future, the area occupied by the Wonderful Tour will become part of that continued evolution.
While we’re a little sentimental about saying goodbye, we’re also excited about what continued investment and growth at Grand Vue means for our guests and our community.
And make no mistake: there is still plenty of fun and adventure ahead at Grand Vue Adventures.
The Adventure Continues
Guests looking to fly can still take on our Wild Zipline Tour, featuring four of our biggest and most thrilling ziplines — including the massive, side-by-side Dueling Yahoos Zipline.
The Dueling Yahoos can also be experienced on its own, sending riders racing side-by-side across an incredible 2,100-foot-long zipline.
And back at Basecamp, there are even more ways to play, climb and challenge yourself, with adventures including our aerial ropes course, Giant Swing, Bounce & Climb, and more — check out our Pick 3 Ticket!
So while one chapter of Grand Vue Adventures is coming to a close, adventure at Grand Vue isn’t going anywhere.
Want to Experience It ALL? Book the Wild & Wonderful Zip Combo
For anyone who wants to make the Wonderful Tour’s final weekend especially memorable, there’s another option:
Go Wild AND Wonderful.
On Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13, guests can book our Wild & Wonderful Zip Combo and experience both of Grand Vue’s guided zipline tours in one action-packed day.
You’ll experience all four ziplines and two bridge crossings of the Wonderful Tour, then take on the four bigger, faster ziplines of the Wild Tour — including the incredible 2,100-foot Dueling Yahoos.
Better yet, the Combo saves you $20 compared with booking both tours separately.
With the Wonderful Tour retiring after September 13, these two days will also mark the final opportunity to ever experience the complete Wild & Wonderful Zip Combo.
Eight ziplines. Two completely different tours. One pretty epic day.
If you’ve ever wanted to experience all the ziplining Grand Vue Adventures has to offer, this is your last chance to do it.
